Estate sales are a great way to quickly and efficiently sell the contents of a home—whether you're downsizing, relocating, or clearing out a loved one's estate. We hope our support can make the process of letting go a little easier. We’ll help you maximize value and reduce stress by connecting your items with people who truly want and need them.
Step 1
Sale Set Up
It all starts with a walk-through—a quick, no-pressure meeting in the sale location. We’ll take a look at what’s for sale, talk through your goals, explain the process, and estimate a timeline.
When setting up for a sale, Full House will accommodate your needs and schedule. We use prep days to categorize, clean, prepare, and display items so that your sale is as shoppable as possible.
Full House will advertise your sale across multiple platforms including email listservs, social media, online groups, and good old fashion flyering. We utilize our vast networks across the region encourage sale day turnout.
Step 2
Sale Days
Estate Sales typically run on weekends, Friday through Sunday. Depending on the size of your sale, they can span multiple weekends.
On sale days Full House will handle everything from start to finish: opening and closing sale location; managing customers; processing sales; and keeping things organized.
Full House works to maximize the volume of items sold by reducing the obstacles to customer purchases: using signage to clearly direct customers to location, offering cash and credit/debit payment options, having accessible sales hours that can extend as needed, supplying dollies to help customers leave with items, partnering with moving services, and working with customers to pick up bulky items later if necessary. We aim to make sales as easy and approachable to customers as possible which will make the most of your sales experience.
Step 3
Sale Wrap Up
At the conclusion of each sale, Full House will clear out our company from the sale location and if you opt in to our Clear-Out service we will arrange for donation or disposal of unsold items.
Full House uses an environmentally friendly and community-focused approach. We partner with local charities, organizations, and individuals to ensure as little goes to waste as possible.
We make the final step of the process as easy and stress-free for you as possible—leaving the space cleared and ready for what’s next.
